Oman- Pact on visa waiver for official passport holders

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat-

H E Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah and Dr Frank- Walter Steinmeier Germany's Minister of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday signed an agreement on mutual visa exemption for holders of official passports.

The German minister also held a meeting with H E Alawi to exchange viewpoints on regional and international issues besides bilateral cooperation.

The meeting was attended by Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidi Secretary General in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

From the German side H E Hans-Christian Freiherr Von Reibnitz Germany's Ambassador to the sultanate and members of the visiting delegation were present. H E Gen Sultan bin Mohammed al Nuamani Minister of the Royal Office also met Dr Steinmeier and discussed topics of mutual interest.

The German minister concluded his visit on Tuesday night.
