Qatar- HH the Emir Leaves Azerbaijan

(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Baku March 08 (QNA) - HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani left Baku on Tuesday evening after an official visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan.

HH the Emir was seen off upon departure at Heydar Aliyev International Airport by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov HE Qatar's Ambassador to Azerbaijan Sayar bin Abdulrahman Al Mauda and HE Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Qatar Tofig Abdullayev along with Qatar's embassy staff.

HH the Emir sent a cable to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in which he expressed thanks and appreciation for the hospitality and honoring accorded to him and his accompanying delegation during the visit which provided an opportunity for the exchange of views on matters of mutual concern and means of enhancing relations of cooperation between the two countries in various fields for the good and interest of the two peoples wishing him best of health and the people of Azerbaijan further progress and prosperity.
