(MENAFN) Amid the worldwide famous sanctions removal of Iran, many leading insurance firms from the US, Germany and Japan have allegedly offered to deliver services in the Islamic Republic.
Accordingly, one of the top addressed companies is the International Group (IG) of Protection & Indemnity Clubs which is pursuing to offer insurance coverage for Iranian oil tankers.
Moreover, following a new set of US foreign trade regulations, the New York-based insurance giant stated that the club is now generally available for non-US person Members.
The American Club is one of 13 members of the global Group of P&I Clubs in London, who collectively cover more than 90pct of the global tanker fleet against risks including oil spills.
