(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Muscat March 08 (QNA) - Oman's Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs Youssuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah met here Tuesday with German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier who is currently visiting the Sultanate.
Their talks during the meeting covered bilateral cooperation between the two countries and ways of enhancing them in various fields in addition to regional and international developments and situation in the region.
Addressing a press conference the German Foreign Minister said that their talks have focused on the Yemeni crisis for moving the political solutions forward In Yemen and the possibility of the UN taking care of these talks stressing that the political solution is a suitable mean for all parties.
Bin Alawi stressed that consultations between Oman and Germany will continue in favor of issues and conflicts in the region expressing his conviction that the conflicting parties would reach an agreement due to the role being made by the United Nations . (QNA)
