Saudi, Indian aviation sector focus on foreign investment


(MENAFN) Aviation and space leaders from KSA and India are ready to join on foreign direct investment (FDI) projects amid their own markets and to collaborate.

Accordingly, the Saudi aviation landscape, which is undergoing increased liberalization, privatization and expansion, will see its fleet double among few years.

Moreover, the sector will contribute between 10-15 percent of the nation's non-oil GDP amid the 15 years, up from its recent level of 2 percent.

India is recently the world's largest importer of defense equipment, and will become the third largest aerospace market by 2020.
