NCMS expects low pressure in UAE till Thursday

ABU DHABI 8th March 2016 (WAM) -- The National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology NCMS is forecasting that the UAE will continue experiencing low pressure from the southwest of the Arabian Peninsula adding that it is likely to intensify on Wednesday.

An NCMS statement issued this morning said that the weather will remain unstable as clouds gather accompanied by strong winds while the rains are expected to continue until Thursday afternoon.

The NCMS warned about the proliferation of cumulus clouds accompanied by heavy rains and strong winds stirring up dust and causing low visibility on land while the sea in all areas will be rough due to the strong winds.

It warned motorists of low visibility due to heavy rains and urged drivers to be cautious and drive safely according to the prevailing conditions.
