(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Ashgabat March 07 (QNA) - HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani left this evening Turkmenistan's capital of Ashgabat for Azerbaijan wrapping up a two-day state visit.
HH the Emir was seen off upon departure at Saparmurat Turkmenbashi International Airport (ASB) by Turkmenistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov HE Ambassador of Qatar to Turkmenistan Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Suwaidi a number of Turkmenistani officials and the Qatari embassy staff.
HH the Emir sent a cable to President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow in which he expressed thanks and appreciation for the hospitality and honouring accorded to him and his accompanying delegation during the visit which provided an opportunity for the exchange of views on matters of mutual concern and means of enhancing relations of cooperation between the two countries in various fields for the good and interest of the two peoples wishing him best of health and the people of Turkmenistan further progress and prosperity.
