Qatar- Deputy Prime Minister Holds Meetings in Jakarta


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Jakarta March 07 (QNA) - Sudanese President Omar Hassan Ahmed Al-Bashir met today with HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud on the sidelines of the 5th Extraordinary OIC Summit on Palestine and Al-Quds Al-Sharif in Jakarta.

At the outset of the meeting HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs conveyed greetings of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to the Sudanese President and his wishes of more progress and prosperity to him and to the Sudanese people.

From his part the Sudanese President entrusted HE the Deputy Prime Minister to convey his greetings to HH the Emir as well as his wishes of further prosperity and progress to the Qatari people.

During the meeting they reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of developing them in various fields.

In another meeting with Yemeni President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi on the sidelines of the 5th Extraordinary OIC Summit HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs conveyed the greetings of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to the Yemeni president and his wishes to him and to the people of Yemen hoping that safety and security will prevail in Yemen.

From his part the Yemeni President entrusted HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs to convey his greetings to His Highness the Emir and his wishes of more prosperity and progress to the Qatari people.

During the meeting they reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of enhancing them in various fields.

HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud also met with head of the Government of National Accord of Libya Fayez Al-Sarraj who led the Libyan delegation at the summit.

During the meeting they reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of advancing them in various fields.

The meetings were attended by HE Qatar's Ambassador to Indonesia Mohamed bin Khater Ibrahim Al Khater. (QNA)
