Russia's CosmosCourse to build traveler spaceship


(MENAFN) A Russian privately owned firm intends to construct a reusable suborbital tourist spacecraft projected to cost nearly USD150 million.

Roscosmos, Russia's space agency has granted approval to the company CosmosCourse for the technical design specifications of the aspiring scheme.

Ultimately, the company plans to begin space launches by the end of 2020, utilizing the Kapustin Yar testing range in Russia's Astrakhan Region as a base.

We were reviewing various concepts of commercial space rockets and came up with the idea of launching people into space," said CosmosCourse's CEO.
