Soldier killed in PKK attack in Turkey's southeast
(MENAFN- The Journal Of Turkish Weekly) >A soldier was killed in an attack by outlawedKurdistan Workers’ Party(PKK) militants in the Sur district of southeasternDiyarbakrprovince early on March 7 the Turkish Armed Forces have announced.
The soldier was seriously wounded in an armed assault byPKKmilitants during an operation in Sur the official statement said.
The wounded soldier whose identity has not been disclosed was promptly transferred to a hospital but succumbed to his wounds at 5:15 a.m.
