(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Doha March 07 (QNA) - HH the Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Qatar University (QU) presided over the third meeting of the Board of Trustees for the academic year 2015/2016 which was held at the Emiri Diwan Monday.
The meeting discussed topics on the agenda. They adopted the academic calendar for academic years 2016/2017 2017/2018 and 2018/2019. The board also amended some of the policies related to the admission to the university and the summer vacation.
The board agreed to appoint Dr. Mariam Ali Sultan Al Ali Al-Maadeed as head of scientific research and post graduate studies. (QNA)
