Orascom signs USD 20mn deal for West Delta gas project
(MENAFN) National Steel Fabrication, a minor of Orascom Construction (OC) was given a USD 20mn contract to build and supply structural steel for the West Nile gas project.
Accordingly, the firm will receive a huge order to fabricate and provide the steel structure for gas development in Egypt and look to more participation in the sector.
The firm signed deals in Jan to hide two power plants, in Assiut and West Damietta, while the capacity of the Assuit is 1,000 MW and Damietta is 500 MW.
In addition, the Co. and the German engineering firm Siemens are also building two joined cycle power plants, each with a 4,800 MW capacity factor.
