Oman- Dhofar Fisheries and Food Industries raises minimum salary to RO400

The Dhofar Fisheries and Food Industries has raised the minimum salaries of its unskilled national employees to RO400.

A press release from the Ministry of Manpower said that a team from the Directorate General for Manpower in Dhofar under the patronage of Khalid bin Hamad al Rawahi its general manager had visited the company premises in Raysut.

He met the company's officials and spoke about raising the minimum salary of Omani employees. The release stated that the company agreed to set it at RO400 after deducting insurance. Rawahi said 'We express gratitude to the company administration for their move to raise the pay. 'This will improve quality efficiency and production. We call upon all companies to raise nationals' salaries.'
