UAE President awards Order of Independence to Mexican Ambassador

ABU DHABI 6th March 2016 (WAM) -- President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has awarded Francisco Javier Alonso Escobar Ambassador of the Mexico to the UAE the Order of Independence in recognition of his efforts to enhance and promote friendly relations and cooperation between the UAE and Mexico in all spheres during his tenure in the UAE.

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation presented the Mexican ambassador with the order in his office at the Ministry today.

Sheikh Abdullah congratulated the ambassador and wished for success for him in his future assignments.

The Mexican ambassador expressed his thanks and appreciation to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa and praised his political wisdom and the prominent role he plays at regional and international levels.

Ambassador Escobar also expressed his thanks to the UAE government officials in general and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in particular for their cooperation during his tenure which contributed to the success of his assignment.
