Morocco's Net International Reserves Rise by 27 Until February 26th


(MENAFN- Morocco World News) Morocco's net international reserves amounted to MAD 232.7 billion until February 26th 2016 recording a 27 percent increase on an annual basis Bank Al-Maghrib said.

The reserves recorded a 0.3 percent weekly decrease the central bank pointed out in its weekly indicators.

During the week of February 25 through March 2 2016 the central bank injected MAD 12 billion.

Over the course of this period the interbank rate remained unchanged at 2.5 percent while the average exchanged volume remained at MAD 2.3 billion.

During the same period the dirham appreciated by 0.57 percent against the euro and depreciated by 0.86 percent against the dollar.
