(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Qatar Chamber has participated in the 15th Jeddah Economic Forum, which was held under the title "the private and public sector companies .. an effective partnership for a better future". The Forum over three days featured the best ways to achieve successful partnerships between the public and private sectors.
The Forum dealt with privatization in all its aspects as well as some 10 major sectors including education, health, electricity, water, municipal affairs, housing, land transport, airports, ports, and Youth Welfare , while closed meetings brought together representatives of the official authorities of the private sector to display the most important projects that will be witnessed by the coming period.
The Jeddah Economic Forum which was launched in 2000, is an annual international platform to exchange views and ideas, has succeeded in attracting economic decision-makers from more than 60 countries during the previous edition , also enjoyed the participation of a large number of heads of state, politicians, public figures and international businessmen business and government officials.
