Bomb explosion near Omani Embassy building in Cairo


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Cairo Egypt-

An Improvised Explosive Device (IED) went off near the Omani Embassy's cultural attache building in Cairo on Saturday morning.

Six cars belonging to Egyptians present in the area were damaged.
H E Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali al Harthy Oman's Ambassador to Egypt said 'The blast did not target the cultural attache building as the explosion took place on another street opposite of where the attache building is located.The cultural attache is located in the Engineers Building in Gaza Street.'

Mona bint Moosa al Zadjaliah the cultural attache in Cairo said that all Omani students and workers in the city were safe.
