Three Virginia schools evacuated due to bomb threats

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) WASHINGTON March 4 (KUNA) -- Students from three high schools in northern Virginia outside of Washington DC were evacuated on Friday after bomb threats were made by a robocall to six schools in the area."Several bomb threats (were) received in Fairfax County and throughout the region. All appear to be non-credible at this time. Schools (are) continuing normal operations and safe. Investigation (is) underway" said Fairfax County Police on twitter.The schools that received threats were George Mason High School Falls Church High School Herndon High School McLean High School Potomac School and Stone Bridge High School.George Mason High was the only school to evacuate upon receiving a threat. Nearby Bishop O'Connell High School and Stone Bridge High School choose to evacuate according to local news affiliate WJLA. (end) ak.gb
