(MENAFN) Microsoft, the leading tech giant has now officially finalized its formerly-announced takeover of SwiftKey, which creates virtual keyboards for iOS and Android.
In accordance, the final closing of the purchase was exposed via Twitter by Microsoft's Harry Shum, the company's Executive Vice President for Technology and Research.
The Redmond-based behemoth plans to integrate its features into the Word Flow keyboard for Windows 10 Mobile, alongside its continuing support for the two other big ecosystems.
Swiftkey's predictive technology aligns with Microsoft's investments and ambition to develop intelligent systems that can work more on the user's behalf and under their control.
