Oman- Al Jarwani shows interest in operations at Muscat airport

Al Jarwani Hospitality has announced its interest in managing ground operations at the Muscat International Airport.

The Oman Airports Management Company (OAMC) announced in November that it was looking for a partner to join Oman Air's handling operations at the airport.

Gerald Fonseka general manager Al Jarwani Hospitality said the company is looking to partner with UK-based Outsourced Client Solutions (OCS) and Swissport. 'Al Jarwani Hospitality is ready for facility management and ground handling services at Muscat International Airport' he said.

Swissport describes itself as 'the world's leading provider of ground and cargo handling services to the aviation industry'. It is involved in services such as check-in aircraft loading and crew transport.

OCS is involved in car park management VIP services and cleaning among other services.

Al Jarwani has experience in logistics catering and cleaning as part of its hospitality division.
