UAE- Dar Al Ber visits charity projects in Thailand

DUBAI 3rd March 2016 (WAM) -- The Dar Al Ber Society DABS in a bid to closely and directly follow-up the developments of all its charity projects around the world has started field visits to 28 major charitable and humanitarian projects which it supports in collaboration with its partners.

Senior staff will be dispatched on a regular basis to meet with strategic partners across the globe to be updated about the developments of the philanthropic projects being carried out and their capability to run these schemes.

To that end a delegation of the society including Imran Mohammed Abdullah Head of Charity Projects Sector and Abdulkareem Jaafar Al Hassan Manager of Projects Department have paid a seven-day visit to Dar Al Ber charity projects in Thailand.

Imran Mohammed Abdullah said they inspected 12 charity projects being carried out in Thailand. "These included five Islamic schools and centres and the delegation checked a number of sites recommended for building large educational institutions. Dar Al Ber has accomplished many projects in Thailand spanning the building of mosques schools and Islamic centres digging water wells sponsoring orphans students and Quran teachers."

He added "We have also supported productive and low-income families in collaboration with a number of accredited charity entities."

Dar Al Ber spares no effort to take part in relief work in coordination with concerned bodies in African Asian and European countries as directed by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in association with the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai according to Imran Abdullah.

The delegation meanwhile discussed the prospects and potentials of some key educational and health projects in Thailand and other projects to encourage the poor and needy to become productive.

"We have also followed-up on the projects being carried out there and urged the contractors and consultants concerned to finish the work as quickly and accurately as possible" Al Hassan added.
