(MENAFN) Egyptian exports of building materials has reached more than USD 3bn at the end of 2015 to be Egypt's second largest exports trailing petroleum products.
Manufacturing firms of building materials aimed exports of USD 5.1bn to USD 6.36bn yearly among the last period, but the slowdown made it lower.
Moreover, the volume of building materials exports registered almost USD 3.1bn to USD 3.56bn per year to more than 100 other states to meeting local needs.
However, rumors about the ability of building materials firms to cover regional market's need have been broken up to launch a huge number of national projects.
