Oman hotels revenue surpasses USD 52.67mn in 2015


(MENAFN) Revenue of hotels classified as 3-5 starts in Oman reached USD 52.67mn in 2015, compared to USD 52.54mn in 2014, according to National Center for Statistics.

Additionally, the occupancy rate registered a 2.1 percent grow by reaching 61.7 percent compared to 60.4 percent recorded through the same period of 2014.

Moreover, the number of hotel guests touched 1,204,376 guests, compared to 1,234,161 in 2014, and the number of Omani guests reached 356,067.

The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) guests logged 160,604, while other Arab guests numbered 57,396 and Europeans and Asians touched 388,707 and 155,051.
