Arab interior ministers council condemns Hezbollah terrorism practices

TUNIS 2nd March 2016 (WAM) - The Arab Interior Ministers' Council condemned and deplored the practices carried out by the terrorist group Hezbollah to destabilize security and social peace in some Arab countries.

"Tunis Declaration" issued at the conclusion of the 33rd session of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers on Wednesday in the Tunisian capital reads as follows: The Arab Interior Ministers Council held its thirty-third edition at the official residence in Tunis under the patronage of President Mohamed Beji Caid Essebsi of Tunisia; recalling the objectives which the Arab League believing that the Arab security is indivisible recalling the principles contained in the Arab Convention on Combating Terrorism in aware of what constitutes terrorism and crime organization of real and sustained security and stability in the region and in the world and believing in the impact of intellectual extremism and sectarianism in the dismantling of cohesion among Arab societies and undermining peaceful coexistence which we knew for centuries and convinced that the elimination of terrorism requires a comprehensive sustained and coordinated confrontation and requires drying its intellectual and financial headwaters announce: Renewal condemnation of terrorism whatever its forms or sources and condemnation of all acts of terrorism including those directed against ethnic and sectarian minorities and those committed by extremist groups and sectarian militias.

Renewed condemnation of all forms of support for terrorism and its financing and its categorical rejection of extortion threats and ransom practiced by terrorist groups to finance their crimes and call upon all States to abide by the Security Council resolutions in this regard.

Determination to continue the fight against terrorism and addressing its causes and mobilize all efforts and resources to eradicate it and enhance Arab cooperation in this area.

The recent strong condemnation of state terrorism practiced by Israel in the occupied Palestinian territories and support of the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination and establish their independent state on their national soil with Al-Quads as its capital.

Absolute condemnation of the storming of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its Consulate in Iran and strong condemnation of the harassment suffered by Saudi diplomats and their families.

Strong condemnation of the terrorist act of kidnapping of Qatari citizens in the Republic of Iraq and appeal to the Iraqi authorities to make every effort in order to release them and ensure their safety.

Severe denunciation and condemnation of Iran's activities aimed at destabilizing the security and stability in Bahrain and several Arab states and undermine peaceful coexistence amidst Arab societies components and inciting sectarian strife.

Support for the actions taken by the Arab countries in the face that.

It condemns and deplores the practices of hazardous work carried out by the terrorist group Hezbollah to destabilize security and social peace in some Arab countries. Full support for the actions taken by all member states to fight al-Qaida and Daesh terrorists.

Full support of the Arab coalition and appreciation of its efforts in order to support the legitimacy of the Republic of Yemen in the face of al-Qaeda terrorist Daesh and the Houthi militias.
