France records 13pct surge in auto sales over Feb


(MENAFN) France saw robust sales' figures in the automobile industry throughout the previous month when compared to January, based on recent reports.

Domestic car manufacturers sold a total of 199,948 units across the country, reflecting a solid increase over the 176,993 vehicles sold in 2015's February.

Mostly on the back of climbing sales of Renault, the 2nd biggest automaker in France, sales of French brands accelerated by a noteworthy 12.1 percent.

Renault sold 14.9pct more cars with sales of its low-cost brand growing sharply by 30.1pct, while PSA Peugeot Citroen group, witnessed its sales increase by 9.8pct.
