(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman March 2 (Petra) -- Warm and dry conditions are expected to prevail Wednesday across the Kingdom with temperatures soar 7-9 degrees above their seasonal average .
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) dusty and partly cloudy to cloudy weather is forecast at night with a chance for drizzle mainly in the northern and central parts of the country while winds will be northwesterly.
A tangible drop in temperatures is forecast on Thursday creating relatively cold and partly cloudy weather with light showers in various regions accompanied by thunder at times. Winds will be westerly to northwesterly blowing dust in the southern and eastern areas the JMD added.
On Friday relatively cold weather will continue in the hilly areas and the Badia region while it will be mild in the Jordan Valley the Dead Sea and Aqaba with low clouds and northwesterly moderate winds.
Maximum temperatures in Amman for today will range between a high of 25 degrees Celsius and a low of 14 degrees at night.
