Police officer 4 outlaws killed in Irbid crackdown

AMMAN 2nd March 2016 (WAM) -- A police captain and 4 'outlaws' have been killed in a major crackdown launched by security forces in the northern city of Irbid.

According to the Jordanian News Agency PETRA two bystanders were injured in the ongoing operation by security forces a police source announced adding that one of the outlaws was arrested in the operation.

The source warned that tough legal action will be taken against some media outlets and pages on social media networks that deliver inaccurate reporting that affects the operation. The source said that further details of the ongoing operation will be released once it is over.
