Kuwait oil price up US 1.79 to US 29.37 pb

KUWAIT 2st March 2016 (WAM) -- The price of Kuwaiti oil went up US$ 1.79 Tuesday to reach US$ 29.37 per barrel as oppose to US$ 27.58 pb the day before said the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation KPC Wednesday.

Kuwait News Agency KUNA said that in the global market the increase in the oil price was attributed to a number of geopolitical reasons including a Russian government proposal to keep world production at its January level.

Brent mix went up by 24 cents to reach US$ 36.81 per barrel and it is the same case for US crude oil which went up by 65 cents to reach US$ 34.40 pb.
