Jordanian police attack outlaws' hideouts N. Kingdom- Agency


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) AMMAN March 1 (KUNA) -- A Jordanian special police force raided the hideouts of a number of outlaws in the northern city of Irbid Tuesday evening a police source said.According to the Jordan News Agency (Petra)) a gunfight broke out in one of the locations the force raided. Three policemen were injured and rushed to a nearby hospital.The source noted that there were injuries and deaths among the outlaws "but their number is not determined yet as the operation is still on." The remaining outlaws are now surrounded in a house it added.The raids were carried out according to a plan based on intelligence security agencies gathered. (end) mjb.msa
