Oman- His Majesty the Sultan's website gets five more language options

The official website of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said (www.oman-qaboos.net) has added five more language options.

By the end of the year the site will have 30 languages stated a press release.

Dedicated to highlight the achievements of His Majesty the Sultan the site has received continuous support from several heads of states in the world. A number of embassies in the sultanate have also assisted in translating His Majesty the Sultan's biography on the website.

'We have received requests from five other countries who have expressed their interest in offering translation services for the website. This shows the relationship that His Majesty the Sultan and Oman share with the world. The translation in Estonian language will be inaugurated soon. It will be done under the supervision of the office of the Prime Minister of Estonia' said Hamoud bin Mohammed al Azri the website's supervisor.

The website has won a number of prestigious international awards in the category of websites of presidents and kings. It has also received letters of encouragement from leaders of various countries such as Park Geun-Hye president of South Korea Benigno Aquino III president of the Philippines. Azri added that as part of the website project a number of social responsibility programmes and activities are also being planned. An app will also be launched this year.

'We have set ourselves high targets to meet our future goals with the aim that the world will recognise the great personality and accomplishments of His Majesty the Sultan' Azri added.
