Oman- Bank Muscat extends support to StartUp Grind event

Bank Muscat the flagship financial services provider in the sultanate in line with its 'Let's Do More' vision and commitment to partnership in promoting an entrepreneurial culture in Oman supported the StartUp Grind event which hosted tech entrepreneur Rabea Ataya founder and CEO of Bayt.com.

Organised by StartUp Oman the event held at the bank's head office attracted a good turnout of young entrepreneurs.

Startup Grind is the largest independent startup community in the world which actively educates inspires and connects entrepreneurs in over 185 cities including Oman. Bayt.com is the Middle East's leading job site which now serves over 23mn professionals and 40000 employers from its 12 regional offices.

Bank Muscat has launched a series of initiatives to strengthen the SME sector in Oman. Serving as building blocks for entrepreneurs these initiatives assume importance in the backdrop of the priority accorded by the government to develop the SME sector in Oman.

The bank's Al Wathbah SME department offers a comprehensive suite of tailor-made finance solutions. A unique SME financing solution launched by the bank has helped entrepreneurs overcome a major challenge.

Al Wathbah SME non-collateral finance not requiring collateral guarantee is a bold step affirming the bank's commitment to encouraging an entrepreneurial culture in Oman.
