Amman- Zarqa BRT project to be applied at USD 154.65mn
(MENAFN) The Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project worth USD 154.65mn linking Amman to Zarqa will be applied in the near future, as stated Transport Minister.
Moreover, this project is very strategic for the transport sector in Jordan and will be an increase for infrastructure in the country, which will cut traffic accidents.
Accordingly, the project contributes some 8 percent to the nation's gross domestic product and employs 10 percent of the labor force.
The collaboration will support Jordan secure soft loans from Chinese companies and will apply the project, and will enhance the efficiency of the transport sector.
