3rd round of Kuwait Rally Championship kicks off Saturday
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT March 1 (KUNA) -- Sheikh Basel Salem Al-Sabah Automobile and Motorcycle Club announced that the third round of Kuwait Rally Championship for 2015-2016 will be launched next Saturday with participation of 28 players.
The head of rallies committee in the Club Sheikh Athbi Nayef Al-Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah said in remarks to KUNA on Tuesday that the race which will start from Seashell Resort and Hotel in Julai'a will include six stages.
The organizing committee of the race will conduct a comprehensive check-up for all participating cars to ensure they conform with the race regulations next Friday in front of the sponsor's site "Car Wash Station".
The organizer of the Championship Mishari Al-Sabti in remarks to KUNA expressed thanks to all the governmental and private bodies which contributed to the success of this contest in a safe and sound manner.
Kuwaiti player Mishari Al-Thifiri was ranked first in the first and second rounds of the championship while in this round he is facing a tough competition from many players including Sheikh Hamad Bin Thani from Qatar and Salem Al-Thifiri from Kuwait. (end) ayr.tb.lb
