Israeli forces clash with Palestinians in Qalandia refugee camp

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RAMALLAH Feb 29 (KUNA) -- The Israeli occupation forces stormed the Palestinian refugee camp in the West Bank village of Qalandia north Jerusalem on Monday night and clashed with Palestinian youths.The Israeli soldiers fired tear gas grenades intensively and used live ammunition against the homes of Palestinians witnesses told KUNA.The clashes which reportedly aimed to free two soldiers who entered the refugee camp by mistake resulted in slight injuries to two Palestinian girls according to sources of the Palestinian Red Crescent.Israeli helicopters hovered over the site while an Israeli military jeep was set ablaze by the angry Palestinian youths.
