UAE Economy Minister Qatari counterpart discuss cooperation

ABU DHABI 29th February 2016 (WAM) -- Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri Minister of Economy and Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassem bin Hamad Al Thani Qatar's Minister of Economy and Commerce have discussed the two countries' visions to look to the future of the post-oil stage.

The two ministers addressed the non-oil sectors recommended to play a major role in boosting growth opportunities and the opportunities of promoting promising partnerships between the two countries.

This came during a bilateral meeting of the two ministers on the sidelines of the second UAE-Qatar Business Forum.

Al Mansouri highlighted the need to strengthen cooperation in the innovation sector as a priority of the two countries' governments for shaping the future.

The meeting touched on the possibility of exchanging experiences between the two sides at the level of government practices and view the legislation and laws applicable in both countries so as to ensure the exchange of the best mechanisms in place on both sides.
