Siemens ships vital assets to Iran's gigantic gas field


(MENAFN) Iran has ordered properties and goods from Siemens back in 2012, to develop South Pars Gas Field, but due to sanctions which were imposed on the Islamic Republic, the deal was paused.

In accordance, Europe's biggest engineering company has finally released the first cargo of compressors and turbines which will be installed at phases 17, 18 and 12 of the supergiant gas field.

Additionally, the 2nd consignment, which will contain three electro-compressors for phases 17 and 18 and 6 other compressors for phase 12, will reach the Persian Gulf Republic within a fortnight.

Furthermore, the Munich-based behemoth focuses its work on Industry, Energy, Healthcare, and Infrastructure & Cities, which represent the most crucial activities of the corporation.
