Oman- Ithraa signs MoU with NCSI

Ithraa recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI).

Azzan al Busaidi Ithraa's director general for planning and studies was quoted in a release as saying 'I'm confident the MoU will bring real benefits to Ithraa's work and the sultanate.' Khaled al Muzaffar NCSI's director general for economic statistics said 'We fully recognise that the public sector and business community require reliable statistics to make informed policy investment sales and marketing decisions. And this is where NCSI excels.'

Statistics play a crucial role in public policy debate and enabling decision-making in trade and investment. They support the formulation of effective government policies and management of public service delivery and direction of economic and commercial activities.
