Qatar Stock Index Gains 80.58 Points
(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) gained 80.58 points or +0.82% when the index closed trading at 9,927.94 points on Sunday.
The daily turnover today rose to QR 399.12 Million with a volume of 12,144,273 shares from 5,314 deals compared to QR 328.66 Million with a volume of 10,813,738 shares from 5,310 deals on Thursday.
From the 43 companies listed on QSE, shares of 38 saw trading today. From these 28 gained, six closed lower and four remained unchanged.
Indices of all seven sectors ended in the green today. Consumer goods and services index gained the most, up +2.26 to 1,065.54 points followed by real estate, up +1.43% to 2,252.36 points.
QSE Total Return Index gained +0.82% to 15,726.28 points. QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index gained +1.22% to 3,657.86 points and QSE All Share Index gained +0.83% to 2,695.63 points.
