Al Tayer receives Chinese Consul General of Economy and Trade to Dubai

DUBAI 28th February 2016 (WAM) -- Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer MD and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority DEWA has received Jin Lei Consul-General of Economy and Trade for the Republic of China in Dubai to welcome him to his new position. The visit is part of a series of diplomatic and consular visits to DEWA to discuss subjects of mutual interest.

During the meeting which was attended by Ahmed Abdullah Senior Manager of External Communications at DEWA Al Tayer welcomed the new Consul-General wishing him success in his new diplomatic mission. He outlined DEWA's prior work and the ongoing development of services reflecting DEWA's commitment to enhancing cooperation with Chinese energy companies to broaden horizons and find mutually beneficial relationships.

The Chinese Consul-General commended the comprehensive development of the emirate and expressed his country's interest in investing in Dubai's renewable energy sector and further cooperation with DEWA.
