Imdaad supports JAFZAs Car Free Day initiative


(MENAFNEditorial) February 24 2016 - Imdaad a leading provider of integrated facilities environment and energy management solutions in the GCC participated today (Wednesday February 24 2016) in Jebel Ali Free Zone’s (JAFZA) Car Free Day. The company’s COO Mahmood Rasheed along with JAFZA’s senior management attended the ribbon cutting ceremony of the environmental exhibition organised as part of the Car Free Day activity.

During the exhibition Imdaad threw the spotlight on its recycling opportunities through its flagship Be’ati Community Program and Khaddour – a fun-loving green leaf character and the mascot of Be’ati. Developed to promote the community’s involvement in green practices such as recycling Khaddour elaborated on the program at Imdaad’s stand located in JAFZA parking numbers 14 and 15 from 9.00 am until 3.00 pm. Employees of Imdaad actively supported the initiative by being present at the exhibition. Also they had expressed their affiliation to Dubai Municipality’s Car Free Day initiative by travelling in Dubai Metro and other modes of public transport on Sunday (February 21 2016).

Dedicated to the free zone community JAFZA Car Free Day is organised in support of Dubai Car Free Day initiative undertaken by Dubai Municipality to raise awareness about fuel conservation global warming and reduction in greenhouse gas emissions. As part of the initiative JAFZA hosted several knowledge-based activities fun-filled games attractive giveaways and an environmental exhibition where all partners and clients showcased their green initiatives and solutions.
