Gulf Air brings Abu Dhabi travel agents to Bahrain

Doha: Gulf Air Bahrain’s national carrier recently organised a familiarisation trip promoting Bahrain to key Abu Dhabi-based travel agencies.

During the three-day visit the participating agents accompanied by Gulf Air’s Country Manager to Abu Dhabi Madina Abdulla Albalushi and in collaboration with The Ritz-Carlton Bahrain experienced the comforts of flying with Gulf Air residing at one of the Kingdom’s five-star hotels and enjoying some of Bahrain’s most notable touristic sights and sounds.

Meeting with Gulf Air A/Chief Commercial Officer Ahmed Janahi during their visit to the airline’s headquarters he spoke of the importance of travel agents’ role and function the partnership between them and Gulf Air to promote the Kingdom’s tourism capabilities and raise awareness of all that Bahrain and its national carrier have to offer.

Gulf Air is a major international carrier serving 43 cities in 24 countries spanning three continents. The airline operates one of the largest networks in the Middle East with double daily flights or more to 10 regional cities in addition to select destinations in the Indian sub-continent and Europe from its hub at Bahrain International Airport.

The airline currently operates 28 weekly flights between Abu Dhabi and Bahrain.The Peninsula
