Qatar- GCC Secretary General Meets HE Cultural Advisor to HH the Emir

(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Riyadh February 23 (QNA) - GCC Secretary-General Dr. Abdul Latif Al Zayani met today with HE Cultural Advisor to HH the Emir Dr. Hamad bin Abdul Aziz Al Kuwari.
Al Kuwari is Qatar's nominee to become the next Director-General of the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
HE the GCC Secretary-General welcomed Al Kuwari praising the latter's role in enriching cultural life in the State of Qatar during his time as Minister of Culture Arts and Heritage. Al Zayani expressed the GCC's support to Qatar's nomination for the Director-General of UNESCO.
For his part Al Kuwari praised the GCC for backing the nomination. He added that the coordination of GCC members in regional and international events reflect the depths of relations and the strength of joint work. (QNA)
