Qatar- Arab League Welcomes Cessation of Hostilities Agreement in Syria
(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Cairo February 23 (QNA) - The Arab League Tuesday welcomed the US and Russia statement on the cessation of hostilities agreement in Syria scheduled to come into effect on Saturday the 27th February.
Arab League Secretary General Dr. Nabil Elaraby said in a brief statement : "We welcome this important agreement" describing it as a positive step on the road towards a political solution of the Syrian crisis.(QNA)
