UAE to host second UAE Qatar Business Forum on Thursday

ABU DHABI 23rd February 2016 (WAM) -- The United Arab Emirates is set to host the second UAE-Qatar Business Forum on Thursday organised by the Ministry of Economy in cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Qatari Ministry of Economy and Commerce.

The forum will be opened by Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri Minister of Economy and Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim Al Thani Qatar's Minister of Economy and Commerce with the participation of more than 150 representative of economic and trade institutions and a large number of investors and businessmen from both sides.

On the sidelines of the forum the Qatari delegation is set to visit the Economy Ministry's headquarters in Abu Dhabi to view the ministry's experiences in terms of transaction procedures licensing intellectual property rights and best practices followed in this regard within the framework of the exchange of experiences knowledge and best government practices.

The organisation of the UAE-Qatar Business Forum is intended to reflect the fraternal bonds between the two countries and the two brotherly peoples and in support of joint efforts towards the promotion of economic investment and trade relations and closer ties between the business communities of both sides.
