Omantel and Ericsson to enhance network expansion
(MENAFN) Oman Telecommunications Co. (Omantel) signed a memorandum of understand (MOU) with Ericsson to increase network capabilities and services as part of its plan.
Accordingly, the firm aims to work with other companies to deliver new services and innovations for the continued evolution of the Omantel 3.0 transformation strategy.
The agreement with Ericsson comes as a part of Omantel objective to deploy new digital smart home, innovative business and E-Government services across 2016 and beyond.
The firm will increase levels of collaboration with Ericsson to signal its accelerated approach toward network investment, enhancement and upgrades across the Sultanate.
