flydubai operates 26 extra flights between Kuwait and Dubai

KUWAIT 22nd February 2016 (WAM)--Dubai-based flydubai will operate up to 17 flights a day between Kuwait and Dubai between 23 and 29 February. The 26 extra flights added to the schedule will accommodate the increase in passenger numbers between the two cities during Kuwait's 55th National and Liberation Day Holiday.

The carrier which has been operating from the convenient Sheikh Saad Al Abdullah Terminal in Kuwait since 2013 offers Kuwaiti citizens and well-wishers from the UAE a very flexible flight schedule to join the country's celebrations and a choice to choose to fly either from Dubai International Airport (DXB) in the heart of the city or from the newest gateway to Dubai Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC).

flydubai 's operations from the dedicated Sheikh Saad Al Abdullah Terminal offers passengers faster check-in services shortened queuing time at the immigration desks and a more personalised flying experience. Passengers are advised to factor in ample time to reach the airport and complete their check-in procedure to avoid the last minute rush as thousands of people gear up to travel ahead of one of the busiest weekends for travel. Passengers are also reminded to book their baggage allowances in advance when travelling in Economy.

Maktoum International Airport (DWC) Dubai's second airport opened its doors to passengers on 27 October 2013. Once completed this airport will be the world's largest global gateway with capacity for more than 160 million passengers per year. DWC welcomed the launch of flydubai 's operations with the arrival of their first flight on 25 October 2015. The airline operates services to a number of destinations from DWC including Kuwait as it continues its operations from Dubai International.
