Kuwait- US dollar up to KD 0.299 euro at KD 0.332

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT Feb 22 (KUNA) -- The exchange rate of the US dollar against the Kuwaiti dinar rose to KD 0.299 on Monday while the euro was stable at KD 0.332 compared to Sunday.The sterling dropped to KD 0.427 the Swiss franc was stable at KD 0.301 and the Japanese yen was unchanged at KD 0.002 according to the daily bulletin of the Central Bank of Kuwait.Meanwhile the US dollar index was stable early this week as the US economy awaits the government's statements on the chemical industries sector during February.Moreover the trade rate of the euro is limited while investors await statements on main European economy sectors to indicate economic recovery. Investors are looking to re-evaluate expectations on the expansion of economic incentive policies by the European Central Bank next March.(end) ht.ysa.ag
