Qatar- Jordanian Prime Minister Meets Minister of Justice

(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Amman February 21 (QNA) - Jordanian Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour met here Sunday with HE the Minister of Justice Dr. Hassan bin Lahdan Saqr Al Mohannadi who is currently visiting Amman.
During the meeting they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries especially in the legal and judicial fields and ways of boosting and developing them in various fields.
Ensour expressed his country's thanks and appreciation for the continuous support provided by Qatar to Jordan in various fields stressing that the legal field is important area which will witness a new impetus via signing a legal memorandum of understanding between the two countries.
HE the Minister of Justice affirmed Qatar's keenness under the leadership of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to enhance and strengthen relations with Jordan in various fields especially the judicial sector.
He went to say that this visit comes at the invitation of Jordanian Minister of Justice Bassam Sameer Al Talhouni adding that it will establish for a new era of cooperation and partnership between the two countries in various legal and judicial fields.
During his visit to Jordan Al Mohannadi also met with Jordanian Minister of Justice to discuss ways of strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries in various legal and judicial fields including exchange of experiences between the two sides notably in the field of training arbitration and notaries.
HE the minister of Justice also signed with his Jordanian counterpart a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on legal cooperation between ministries of Justice of both countries.
The MoU was aimed at exchanging experiences in legal and joint training areas through centers and institutes of legal and judicial studies in both countries.(QNA)
