Lebanese minister of justice announces resignation

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BEIRUT Feb 21 (KUNA) -- Lebanese Minister of Justice Ashraf Rifi on Sunday announced his resignation from the cabinet blaming Hezbollah and its allies for the political crisis facing the country.Rifi presented his resignation to PM Tammam Salam and confirmed that he remained steadfast on the path of "martyr" PM Rafik Hariri and the "martyrs" of the Cedar Revolution National News Agency reported. "As our country Lebanon endures under the most dire of crisis-ridden circumstances provoked by status quo forces they seem bent on totally engulfing the state by working for its disintegration from within while distorting its outside image jeopardizing its sovereignty future and putting inter-Arab relations at risk" he said in a statement.
