Pioneer Resources brings Kalgoorlie gold to Spotlight CEO Sessions

Pioneer Resources (ASX:PIO) has a multi-project exploration focus with interests located in some of the most highly prospective mining districts in Western Australia.
An extensive exploration program at its Acra project northeast of Kalgoorlie recently intersected gold from reverse circulation drilling while identifying new high-priority targets from aircore drilling.
Acra has a 20 kilometre long north-west trending structural corridor which is evident in aeromagnetic data with elements observable in field mapping and which is considered prospective for gold.
Physical gold has been recovered from small gold workings that date from the 1890's until WW2 and more recently from nugget patches that are still being located and worked.
Most exploration undertaken from the early 1970's to the present however has focussed on identifying nickel mineralisation.
This provides the opportunity for Pioneer.
Pioneer also has two highly prospective nickel projects which have been subject to extensive exploration with interests in the highly prospective Albany Fraser Ranges.
